Jose Antonio Pizano Parra, age 45, of Sycamore, Illinois went home to Heaven July 16, 2023 at his home.

He was born on October 17, 1977 in Mexico City to his parents Tomas Pizano and Josefina Parra.

Jose Antonio "Tony" is survived by his two children Isabel (Luke) Pizano-Egeler and Brandon Pizano, parents Tomas Pizano and Josefina Parra, sister Cynthia (Erik) Tomlinson and nephews Erik (Kylie Ocker) Tomlinson, Aiden Tomlinson, Sebastian Santiago Tomlinson, Ilijah Tomlinson, Ezekiel Tomlinson and Rowan Tomlinson.

Tony was preceded in death by his little brother Tomasito Pizano, Tony's grandparents, dad's parents, Antonio Pizano and Isabel Molina and mom's parents, Jose Parra and Auxilio Garcia.

Tony was very artistically gifted. He loved to sit down with his sketchbook whenever he could and sketch. It didn't matter if it was a mechanical pencil, a pen, or full art supplies, he could make something beautiful out of nothing.

Tony's love of soccer brought him closer to his kids and nephews. He enjoyed working on cars and sound systems. He loved to stay active, whether it was in the gym or taking his kids and nephews to run up hills in the forest preserves for their soccer conditioning. He also had admiration for shoes and collected them. He loved bonding with his daughter over movies, shopping, and soccer; his son bonding over shoes, video games, football & movies; his nephews; bonding over soccer, video games, and movies.

Tony will always be remembered as strong, hardworking, and determined. He was a kind and smart man who did anything to see his kids and family happy. Tony was insightful and always wanted to help family in times of need. He could sit down and talk with you about anything and everything for hours on end. Everything he did and made from work he gave to others, whether it was for his children, parents or sister, his first thought was his family.

Tony worked many jobs throughout his life and always strived to give his all in every position that he found himself in. He was a jack of all trades and could fit into any group and any job. He primarily enjoyed working on machines, cars, electronics and anything with moving parts.

His visitation will be on Saturday, July 22nd from 12:00-2:00 PM at St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 340 S. Stott St., Genoa, IL.  A funeral mass will begin at 2:00 PM.

Burial will be private.
