John A. Nugent, age 67, passed away unexpectedly due to a pulmonary embolism on Sunday, January 12th, 2020
John was born on July 22, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan, to his parents Warren and Marion Nugent.
John lived a remarkable life with a variety of experiences. John started his career at Pepper Construction as a laborer and eventually retired as a senior superintendent of Pepper Construction after an eventful 37 years. He also ferociously battled and conquered lung cancer. John's perseverance was second to none. In his spare time, John enjoyed quality family time, his dog Gonzo, and spending time outdoors. John was known by everyone he met for being a caring, loving, and exceptional man.
John is survived by his wife, Mary Jo; son Jon, daughters Hannah and Melanie; brothers Jeff and Ted; sister Kathy; grandchildren Raegan and Sully; son-in-law Quinn; and numerous nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents.
