John David "Dave" Baker, known to most as Dave, age 79, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, in Genoa, Illinois. He was born on January 7, 1947, in Springfield, Illinois.
Dave was a loving husband, proud father, and devoted grandfather whose warmth and generosity touched everyone he met. A successful business owner, Dave lived life with curiosity and passion. He had a wide range of interests that reflected his creativity and hands-on spirit.
