Joan Gibson Doyle's Obituary
Joan Gibson Doyle, 90, of Geneva died Monday, September 6, 2021 at Pine Acres Rehab and Living Center in DeKalb.
She was born on May 18, 1931 in Birmingham, England to Joseph and Florence (Wadsworth) Gibson. She was married to Jack Doyle, who preceded her in death 15 years ago.
Joan was a homemaker and raised her children in Geneva. She was a loving wife and dear friend, who will be missed dearly.
Survivors include her daughters, Nancy (Brian) Walsh and Pamela (Jeffrey) Dean; her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Chad) Metcalf, Kevin Walsh, Braden Dean and Colton Dean; and her sister, Peggy Newey and her twin sister, Jean Bayford.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen.
Her funeral service and burial at the Elmwood Cemetery will be private.
