Jennifer L. Sebastian, 69, of McFarland, Wisconsin died peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2024.  She was born on January 12, 1955, in Sycamore, Illinois, the daughter of Arthur H. Terry and Joyce A. (Carnahan) Terry.  She married Allan Ajaya in 2014 and enjoyed 10 blissful years with him.

Jennifer worked for the DeKalb Police Department and the Illinois State Police as a dispatcher for several years. She began to practice yoga and meditation, which was life changing. She took early retirement and opened a yoga studio where she could use her talents to help others find ease of being.

Jennifer was devoted to her family. She lived with grace and generosity of spirit; she trusted in life and in others. Everyone she met felt her unconditional acceptance. Her bubbly personality and witty sense of humor drew people to love her.

Jennifer was also a talented artist. Her playful, loving spirit shows through in her watercolors, which have been exhibited and are widely admired.

Survivors include her loving husband Allan, son, Colin (Kristin) Boyd, grandchild (Michael Boyd), two siblings, Holli (Greg) Solberg and Art (Pam) Terry, and several dear nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her cousin, Dale Terry, and her nephew, Michael Solberg.

Friends and family are encouraged to attend a memorial service on Saturday, December 21st, from 11:00AM – 1:00PM at the Butala Funeral Home, 1405 DeKalb Avenue, Sycamore, Illinois.

Funeral service will begin at 1:00PM.  Burial will follow at the Wyoming Township Cemetery in Paw Paw, Illinois.
