Jennifer Marie Schultz, 59, of Genoa passed from this life on October 26, 2020 after a courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer.
Born on September 23, 1961 in Chicago to Albert and Walena Price, she was the youngest of seven children and is survived by her siblings, Alberta Unroe, Walter (June) Price, Roger (Valerie) Price, Joyce (Frederick) Redinger and Thomas (Vicki) Price; her husband of 20 years, Joseph Schultz; three children, Sarah Anne Bradley, Steven Patrick Bradley and Christina Marie Bradley; three grandchildren, Lillian Marie Bradley, Scarlett Rose Ohlfest and Brantley Ohlfest; sister-in-law, Joyce Price and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Walena Price and her brother, Rex Price.
She graduated from the Genoa Kingston High School and received Associates Degrees in Business Management and Applied Science Nursing Degree from Kishwaukee Community College. She was employed at Provena St. Joseph's in Elgin for 16 years and Valley Ambulatory in St. Charles for 5 years. Upon her retirement, she rekindled a passion for horses, set aside from her teenaged years. She lived happily day by day training and riding her horses and meeting new friends for trail riding adventures.
She was a loving mother and doting grandmother who always came through for her children and her family in times of need. She was active participant in Avon Walks for breast cancer as a walker for 5 years and lent her nursing skills as a crew member for 2 years.
Her selflessness, passion and gentleness will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A walk through visitation will be on Friday, October 30th from 2:00-7:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory in Sycamore. In accordance with the IDPH- facial coverings, social distancing and a limit of 10 guests indoors at one time will be enforced.
A private burial will be a the Genoa Cemetery at a later date.
