Jean Ann Farris, 69 of DeKalb died suddenly on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at NW Medicine- Kishwaukee Hospital.
She was born on May 9, 1951 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. To Buster and Eva Imogene (Brown) Farris. She married Judy M. Robinson. They were together for 30 years.
Jean received her Master's degree in social work. She was the director of Career Development at Abilities Center in Rockford, IL. and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Durand Academy in Durand, IL.
Jean has a passion for music. She enjoyed listening to Country Western music and writing songs for her band "Farriswheels". She loved animals and gave them excellent care, putting their needs before her own.
Survivors include her wife, Judy Robinson; brother, John (Donna) Farris; sisters, Linda Reshel and Sheila (Tom) Cantrell; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, stepdaughter, step son-in-law, step grandchildren and special friend, Linda Fisher.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; aunts, unclews, stepfather and stepdaughter.
A Celebration of Jean's life will be at a later date.
