Jason Knodle passed away on February 4, 2026, following a semi-truck accident.

Jason was born on January 14, 1984, in Sycamore, IL, to Edward and Susan Knodle. A lifelong Chicago Bears fan, Jason found joy and purpose traveling the open road and spending time with his best K9 companion, Bonnie—doing the work and living the life he loved.

Jason is survived by his mother, Susan Knodle of Scottsdale, AZ, his brother, Patrick (Talissa) Knodle of Scottsdale, AZ, and his beloved nephew, Ashton Knodle, and niece, Mabry Knodle of Scottsdale, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Knodle of Plainfield, IL, his uncles Jim Knodle of Skokie, IL and Rich Hall of Maple Park, IL, and his grandparents, Hays and Betty Knodle of Sycamore, IL, and Anthony and Una Wegener of Maple Park, IL

A private ceremony and burial will take place at a later date in Sycamore, IL.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jason's memory to the ASPCA.
