Janet P. Wright's Obituary
Janet P. Wright, 84, of Marengo died on April 19, 2023 at the NW Medicine- Huntley Hospital in Huntley, IL.
She was born on May 24, 1938 in Paw Paw, IL to Marvin and Marjorie (Simpson) Suddeth. She married Gerald E. Wright on June 1, 1957.
Janet was a self-taught computer wizard and a lover of all animals, especially her dogs. She was an amazing artist- coloring beautiful pictures with markers and eye shadow.
Janet cared for many children over the years in the Marengo area and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald; two daughters, Kathy Smith (Rick Donahue) and Shari Kubiak; two grandchildren, Alicia Smith and Tanner Wright; and her best furry friend, Cookie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Randy Wright; one grandson, Daniel Smith; and three brothers, Kenny, Curt and Ronald "Butch" Suddeth.
Her services and burial will be private.
Memorials for Janet Wright can be made to the United Methodist Church of Marengo, 119 E. Washington St., Marengo, IL. 60152 or in care of the Slater-Butala Funeral Home, 132 W. Main St., Genoa, IL. 60135.
