James "Jim" William Klank, 63, of Kingston died unexpectedly early Sunday morning, January 24, 2021. Jim was born July 5, 1957 in Berwyn, IL. to Donald and Lola (Slapak) Klank. He graduated from Glenbard East High School in 1975.
Jim worked over 40 years as a Master Ford Technician and was currently utilizing his automotive experiences working for Element Fleet Management. Jim proudly graduated with a BS degree in business, with high honors, from Southern New Hampshire University in 2020.
He loved sports especially watching his Bears, Cubs, and Blackhawks. He dedicated his love and time to his favorite hobbies, sports, camping, gardening, and of course his Harley (his true love). Jim cherished his time riding on the open road with his wife and his close friends.
Jim was a loving husband, father, and friend. He married Tina Reamy Klank of Corpus Christi, Texas, on October 17, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife (and soul mate) Tina, son Anthony Marin (19), and daughter Destiny Marin (18). He also leaves behind his aunt, Alberta Slapak, cousin, Gregg Slapak, and numerous close friends.
He is predeceased by his parents Donald and Lola Klank and his sister Janice Fox.
He will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family.

There will be a memorial celebration on Saturday, Feb. 6th from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Slater-Butala Funeral Home of Genoa, IL.
