Isobel Cummings, born on September 15, 1934, in Glasgow, Scotland, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. A devoted wife to Bill Cummings for over 60 years, she leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication.

In her 89 years, she embraced life with grace and strength. Over 60 years ago, she and Bill made the courageous journey from their birthplace in Scotland to the United States, initially settling in the Chicago suburb of Lombard before making their final home in DeKalb, Illinois.

Isobel was a cherished mother to Alexandra Weckerly (Mike) and William Cummings (Annamarie). Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support shaped the lives of her children and extended to her grandchildren, Jessica, Madison, Connor, Mia, William, and Joseph. As a great-grandmother, she found joy in the laughter and love of Laila, Langston, Alijah and Lena.

Her life was a testament to the power of family, love, and resilience. She will be remembered for her warm heart, kind soul, and the countless memories she created with those she held dear.

Isobel will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
