Gayle Diane Kleck, born in Loves Park, Illinois, on October 23, 1941, to Edward J. Kleck and Virginia Finch -- their only child -- passed away peacefully on November 30, 2023. She is survived by her only child, Jackie (Frank, Madeline & Jacqueline) DiNatale.

In addition to her daughter and son-in-law, Gayle leaves behind some long-time friends including Sandra Oberg Johnson (Rockton), Myra Vaugh (Rockford), Carol & Carl Goforth (Glendale Heights), Milli Striegl (Lake Geneva, WI), Cyndi "Stella" Powers (Layfette, CO), Stephanie Cirock (Bloomingdale), the Nona Stewart clan (Hanover, IL), and special "granddaughter" De Austin (Sycamore).

Gayle had an illustrious professional that started when she graduated from Swedish American Hospital's x-ray training program and culminated with her becoming the Administrative Director of Chicago Northside MRI Center. Along the way, she was very active in the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA). In 1994, AHRA awarded Gayle a Fellow designation to recognize her significant contributions to the industry and to the association.

Gayle was always up for an adventure: short-sheeting beds, dance contests, stalking Elvis, a legendary cigar party, and even a few 5K races. She traveled extensively with friends on special trips to Israel, Paris (for the millennium), and Monte Carlo. Gayle was an avid reader; she completed the Evelyn Wood Speed Reading course and was known to read that last chapter first!

A very special and heartfelt thank you to her wonderful and loving caregivers these past years: the staff at DeKalb County Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Sandi McMahon, Karrie Sorbel, Cheri Tazbier and Barbara Cox.

There will be no funeral. Interment will be private.
