Obituary

Frances Mary Sivertsen (nee Russo), 93, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020 at the Grand Victorian in Sycamore, IL.

She was born on May 14, 1926 in Chicago to Fiorentino and Mildred (nee Mauro) Russo.
Fran was a devout Catholic who loved to spend time with her family.   Fran had a wonderful sense of humor, she loved to dance, was a fabulous cook and was kind, unselfish and had a big heart. She was loved by everyone she met.
Fran worked for the Chrysler Corporation for more then 20 years, starting in 1970.  In retirement, she remained active in her community, publishing newsletters and was a member of the Newcomers Club of Oceanside, CA., She later relocated to Del Webb in Huntley, IL.
She loved to play all kinds of table games including- cards, Mexican train, bingo and also participated in Bocce leagues and tournaments.
Fran was a loving mother to Dennis Giannola, Robert Giannola, Cara (Chris) Swanson (nee Giannola) and Mario (Diane) Giannola; loving grandmother of seven, Billy, Meagan, Aaron, Lauren, Elyse, Charlie and Michael;  and dear great grandmother of six.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Theresa Mackintosh and her brother-in-law, Gordon Mackintosh.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, services will not be held at this time.  A Celebration of Fran's live will be held at a later date.
