Elizabeth Anne Baker, 85, of Genoa died October 20, 2024 at the Northwoods Care Center in Belvidere.

She was born on July 13, 1939 in Genoa to William Henry and Marjorie (Mulvihill) Baker, Sr.

She was employed at various places throughout her life- the DeKalb Ag, Woolco, Marshall's and was a caregiver for the Hirsch family.

Liz was a graduate of the Genoa-Kingston High School, Class of 1957. She was involved in Brownies, Girl Scouts and the Genoa Community Band. She was an active member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Genoa, where she served on the Church counsel and participated in Church camp.

Liz enjoyed baking, crocheting, knitting and reading.

Survivors include her sister Kay Baker; brother Michael (Nancy) Baker; nephews Patrick, Danny and Eric; niece Theresa; and grand nephew Greason.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers William Jr., Thomas and Keith; and sister Rose.

Her memorial visitation will be on Saturday, November 2nd from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Faith United Methodist Church, 325 S. Stott St.,      Genoa, IL.

Her memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM with Rev. Kim Chapman officiating.  Burial will be at the Genoa Cemetery.

Following the burial, all are invited to a luncheon in the Church hall.
