Edna M. Nelson's Obituary
Edna M. Nelson, 73, died Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at her home.
She was born April 18, 1946 in Fayetteville, TN. to Foster and Alma Mae (Williams) Watts. She was married to Carl Nelson.
Edna worked for AG Communications in Genoa for many years. She was a member of the North Love Baptist Church in Rockford and the NRA.
She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren and dog, Snoopy.
Survivors include her daughter, Kim Hoover (Rob); her son, James Skinner; and grandchildren, Dillon Skinner, Faith Hoover, Larissah Hoover, Lucas Hoover, Lila Morris, and, Angie Morris.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Nelson and son, Richard Morris.
Her visitation will be on Monday, January 27th from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at the North Love Baptist Church, 5301 E. Riverside Blvd., Rockford, IL. 61114.
A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM at the Church with Pastor Ron Haese officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at the Church from 12:00 PM-1:30 PM.
A graveside service will follow at the Genoa Cemetery in Genoa, IL.
