She was born on November 6, 1937 in Mayfield Twp., IL. to Gilbert and Edith (King) Malone.  She married Allan Bartels on October 8, 1983.

Dorothy was employed at DeKalb Ag, Anaconda Wire and Cable Co. and State Farm Insurance for many years. She will be dearly missed by her loving family.

Survivors include her children, Trisha (Victor) Holbrook, Ami (Jerry) Busse, Amber Bartels and Aaron (Stephanie) Bartels; 13 grandchildren, Kenny (Lauren), Trent, Logan, Hunter, Samantha, Riley, McKenzie, Grant, Beau, Brady, Campbell, Peyton and Flynn; her great granddaughter, Freya and one great grandchild due in January; sister, Betty Fritsch, sister-in-law, Kelly Malone and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her 3 husbands, Donald Weaver, Reed Rumsey and Allan Bartels; her daughter, Carolyn Oltman; two brothers, Howard and Lester Malone; one sister, Martha Merchant and her dear cat, Charlie.

As per Dorothy's wishes, no services are planned.
