Obituary

Donna Lillian (Molander) Marsh, 106, passed away December 10, 2022 at Oak Crest Retirement Center in DeKalb, IL.
Donna was born in Sycamore, IL to John and Ida (Davig) Molander.  After graduating from Sycamore High School in 1934, she worked as a secretary for the lawyer, Ross Millet and at the Ideal Company in Sycamore.
Donna married in 1945 and settled in Geneva where she lived for 60 years.  She worked at the Kane County Court House in the Clerk's office.  Donna was a long standing member of the United Methodist Church of Geneva and active in the community.  She was a member of the Garden Club, a Girl Scout Leader, loved to play bridge, was a docent of the Geneva History Museum and a member of the Eastern Star.
After moving to Oak Crest in DeKalb, she remained active joining the Kitchen Band, the Red Hat Society, playing cards and games, and going on the many outings which she so enjoyed.
Aunt Donna will be remembered with love for her unbelievable memory and her fun, and keen sense of humor. We will miss her greatly.
Donna is survived by her nephew, Craig Molander of Wilmington, IL and her niece Kristine (Molander) Walsh of Batavia, IL and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Donald Molander and her sister-in-law Margaret (Mattson) Molander.
There will be no services at this time.
Arrangements were completed by the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory in Sycamore, IL.
