Donald W. Rogers' Obituary
Donald W. Rogers, 80, of Peoria ,AZ who grew up in Lysander, NY, died September 22, 2021 at the Bethany Rehab and Nursing Center in DeKalb, IL.
He was born on April 1, 1941 in Phoenix, NY to Paul and Ruth (Thorne) Rogers. He married Sharon Duffy on June 16, 1963.
Donald worked as a public accountant for Arthur Andersen and ACCO World Corp. He served as treasurer for the Lombard, IL Park District for many years and enjoyed golfing, bowling and watching all different sports in his spare time.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon; two daughters, Gail (Scott) Findlay and Marcia (Darren) Wade; eight grandchildren, Meghanne Lindley, Melanie Findlay, Melissa Findlay, Michelle (Jonah) Minnihan, Nichole Smith, Danielle Smith, Michael Smith and Ryan Wade; two sisters-in-law, Phyllis Rogers and Joyce (Jim) Paige; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles Rogers.
His Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
