Darlene Weathers, 78, of Sandwich, IL. died November 20, 2024 at NW Medicine, Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, IL.

She was born on September 23, 1946 in Lepanto, Ark. to Thurman Troy and Ellen Grace (Gunn) Wilson.

Her biggest hobbie was a love of crafting. She made so many wonderful things out of plastic canvas. She enjoyed baking- she was very talented!

She is survived by her son Randy Jr. Weathers of Mendota; her sister's Tammy Wilson of Cortland, Dorthy Wilson of Sycamore, Connie Busby of Sycamore and Sherry Aasen of Sycamore; her grandchildren Brad Crites , Nicholas Crites, Megan Crites, and ane great grandchild  Auggie Crites; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents , Troy & Grace Wilson;  her husband,  Randy Weathers;
two sons, Edward Crites and Jim Crites and three sisters, Glenda Darnell, Jane Williard and Bonnie Gusman.

Her services will be private.
