Obituary

Dan N. Potter, 32, died Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at his home.

He was born July 27, 1987 in St. Charles, IL. to George and Laura (Przybyla) Potter.  He was employed as an assembler at Chrysler for many years.
Dan loved spending time with his son, Dylan.  They enjoyed anything to do with cars, having Nerf gun fights and just being together.  Dan loved his family and had a wonderful smile and witty sense of humor.  He always wanted to make people happy.
Survivors include his parents, George and Laura Potter; his son, Dylan; one sister, Stephanie Potter (Sean Kayes); his fiance, Jessica; and his loving aunts, uncles and cousins along with his many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, Norb and Maureen Przybyla and Vita Potter.
His visitation will be on Saturday, February 22nd from 9:00-11:00 AM at the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory in Sycamore.  His funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM on Saturday at the funeral home with Fr. Carl Beekman officiating.  Burial will be at the Twelve Mile Grove Cemetery in Pecatonica.
