Connie (Floit) Schaffner was peacefully called home to sit with God as she was surrounded by members of her loving family, on July 27, 2024.

Since entering our world on July 14, 1945, our Connie was a lifelong member of the Sycamore community; leaving a wonderful legacy of friends and family along with decades of commitment to the family business, Floit Sand and Gravel. Grieving family includes husband Dennis Schaffner, daughter Shannon (Pecikonis) and family which includes granddaughter Lily and son-in-law Jason. Her brother Ron Floit and his wife Mary, along with extended family including many nieces and nephews, will forever miss her warmth and generosity.

She is preceded in her heavenly journey by her adoring parents Roy and Doris Floit, as well as her loving sister Sandra Ann (Floit) Buell and brother-in-law Ken.

She will rest eternally beside them at Elmwood Cemetery in Sycamore, IL.
