Christopher S. Bushman's Obituary
Christopher S. Bushman was a man who loved sports, more specifically the Cubs and Bulls. As a kid, he was like a computer with players names, numbers, stats. He would rather watch sports news in the morning before school instead of cartoons. He had to find out the final scores of the games he was too little to stay up and watch the night before.
Chris was known for being passionate about his beliefs. No matter what they were, if he believed it, he stood by it. There is something to be said for someone who trusts in something so whole heartedly.
Although he didn't have many friends (who of us does) he took those he had very seriously. He was fortunate to have a buddy by his side, Shawn. Shawn and his mom saw Chris through some hard times and as a family we will always be grateful for that.

He is survived by two sons, Gabriel, 18 of DeKalb, Il. Noah, 13 of Woodbridge, VA. His mom and step dad Melanie (Sue) and Mike Peters of Genoa, Il. One sister Jennifer (John) Gurke Montgomery, Il. Two brothers Brian (Mary) Peters and Jason (Tammy) Peters both of Genoa Il. Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his dad Stan Bushman, maternal grandparents Warren and Jane Brown. Paternal grandparents Francis and Doris Bushman.
Home going services will be held at Crosswinds Community Church, 131 Cherry Road in Genoa IL on Tuesday, December 3
rd
2019. Visitation will start at 10:00-11:00 am. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the Genoa Cemetery.
