Chester B. Wig, 92, of Sycamore died Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the Pine Acres Rehab and Living Center in DeKalb.

He was born on September 30, 1928 in Belvidere, IL. to Chester and Edna (Fillweber) Wig. He married Georgia Howe on January 7th, 1950.

Chester retired from Wig Interiors in 1994.  He enjoyed woodworking, scroll sawing, and carving. A great accomplishment was winning a First place and Best of Show Ribbons at the New Mexico State Fair on one of his projects.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia Wig; his children, David Wig, Daniel Wig (Tracy), Theresa Corrado (Paul), Timothy Wig (Kristi), Christine Wig, Steven Wig (Cynthia), Jeffery Wig (Geni); his daughter-in-law, Laura Wig; his sister, Susan Baker, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Wig Sr. and Edna Wig; his son, Michael L. Wig; his grandson, Jeremy Wig; brother, James Wig; sister-in-law, Grace Wig; niece, Cynthia A. Wig; and brother-in-law,  Pat Baker.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
