Chaz D. Tischhauser, age 35, passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning August 7, 2020.

Chaz David, the son of David Charles Tischhauser & Dawn Workowski Tischhauser, was born in Barrington, IL on March 23, 1985. He grew up in Genoa, IL. Chaz lived in Kingston with his fiancé and girls, while working as a groundskeeper for the Elgin School District U46.  He enjoyed playing horseshoes and was a member of the Huntley American Legion horseshoe team. One of Chaz's favorite past-times was kayaking down the river with his family. He enjoyed throwing on his camo & bow hunting, and singing country music while playing his guitar around family and friends.

Chaz was a hard worker, fun-loving and kind-hearted, and always willing to help others. He is loved by all and will be deeply missed.

Chaz is survived by his fiancé Amy Wilson; daughters Autumn Stojan (14), Jadyn Tischhauser (10), Willow Tischhauser (6); parents Dawn Tischhauser, David (Judy) Tischhauser; brothers Miles (Charissa) Tischhauser, Wade Tischhauser; step-brother Tyler (Kaitlin) Richards; step-sister Abbey Richards; nieces/nephew Everett Tischhauser, Alayna & Avery Johnson, Ashtyn Zyer, Brinley Richards; grandparents Donna Workowski, Ila Carroll.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Lily Ann Tischhauser; grandparents Norm & Joyce Tischhauser, Norbert Workowski, Thomas Carroll.

A walk through visitation will be held Wednesday, August 12 ^th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Slater-Butala Funeral Home, 132 W Main St., in Genoa following CDC Recommendations with social distancing and facial coverings.  Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday August 13 ^th at the Busse Addition of the Genoa Cemetery on North State Road, Genoa, IL.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Chaz may be made to his daughters.
