Carolyn F. Camp 85 of Sycamore, IL died Sunday April 27, 2025 at her daughter's home surrounded by her family.

Carolyn of Maple Park, IL married the love of her life, Clifford C. Camp of Poplar Grove, IL on May 7, 1960 in Belvidere, IL. Carolyn was a nurse and farm wife in Poplar Grove, IL and Knox County MO. She retired from nursing in DeKalb, IL.

She enjoyed reading, traveling, gardening, and playing cards with family and friends.

Carolyn is survived by 3 children: Kevin (Vickie) Camp of Texas, Kerry (ChaRae) Camp of Missouri, and Kim Plapp of DeKalb, IL. She has 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Sister Alice (Merril) Edwards of Maple Park, IL, brother Leslie (Liz) Petersen of Texas, brother Howard (Donna) Petersen of Sycamore, IL, sister-in-law Nancy (Larry) Hogan of Capron, IL, and brother-in-law Curt (Belva) Camp of Poplar Grove, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Camp (2018), parents Donald and Mabel Petersen, mother and father-in-law Lila and Albert Camp, Sister-in-law Ida Mae Lozzio, and son -in law Myron Plapp.

In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to Carolyn F. Camp memorial fund addressed to The Camp Family in care of Butala Funeral Home 1405 DeKalb Ave Sycamore, IL 60178.

A Celebration of Carolyn's Life will be held Sunday June 8, 2025 at 11am (visitation 10am) at Chapel In The Pines 1515 Quigley Rd. Sycamore, IL 60178.
