Carolina Montoya Recendez, 81, died Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.

She was born on May 16, 1940 in Mexico to Emeterio and Josefa (Recendez) Montoya.   She was married to Ramon Argomaniz.

She loved gardening, crocheting, and sewing, thrift shopping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her four sons and three daughters, Fernando, Roberto, Carlos, Samuel, Belen, Olga, and Guadalupe. 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother Alfredo Montoya Recendez.

Her visitation will be on Friday, Oct. 22nd from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL.

Her funeral will be on Saturday, Oct. 23rd at 9:00 AM at St Mary's Catholic Church, 329 Pine St., DeKalb, IL.

Burial will be at Ohio Grove Cemetery in Sycamore IL.

Carolina Montoya Recendez, de 81 años, murió el Sábado 16 de Octubre de 2021 en el Hospital Central DuPage en Winfield.

Nació el 16 de Mayo de 1940 en México, hija de Emeterio y Josefa (Recendez) Montoya. Esposa de Ramon Argomaniz.

Le encantaba la jardinería, la costura y tejer, las compras de segunda mano y pasar tiempo con su familia.

Le sobreviven sus cuatro hijos y tres hijas, Fernando, Roberto, Carlos, Samuel, Belén, Olga y Guadalupe. 12 nietos y 8 bisnietos.

Le precedió en la muerte de su hermano Alfredo Montoya Recendez.

Su visita será el Viernes 22 de Octubre de 4:00-8: 00 pm en la Funeraria Butala, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL.

Su funeral será el Sábado 23 de Octubre a las 9:00 am en la Iglesia Católica de St Mary's, 329 Pine St., DeKalb, IL.

El entierro será en el cementerio Ohio Grove en Sycamore IL.
