Carole L. Bellamy, 78, of Sycamore died September 19, 2022 at her home.

She was born on May 22, 1944 in Sycamore to Arvel "Ozzie" and Carolyn "Tudie" (Clarner) Davis.  She married Raymond Bellamy on Feb. 18, 1961 in Sycamore.

Carole loved being with her family.  She enjoyed reading and spending time with friends. She was always fun to be around and her smile and laughter would light up a room.   Carole will be dearly missed by all.

Survivors include her daughters, Tracy (Warren) Peterson and Angela (Scott) Miller; son, Robert "Bob" (Sharon) Bellamy; 9 grandchildren, Cody (Calli)  and Samuel (Samantha) Peterson, Brooklynn, Rhett, Dalton and Kyra Bellamy, Cody (Makenna), Brody and Nicholas Miller; 4 great grandchildren, Laceigh, Tanner, Blayke and Caroline; sister, Gayle (Alan) Volpp; brother, Randall (Nellie) Davis and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond; sister, Sandra Yunek and brother, Darrel Davis.

Her visitation will be on Thursday, Sept. 22 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home in Sycamore.

Her funeral service will be on Friday, Sept. 23 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
