Carol Seisser, 85, passed away at her home on August 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of the family she treasured so deeply.

Carol was born on August 21, 1940, to Ralph and Lillie (Lindberg) Becker. On October 18, 1958, she married the love of her life, Eugene Seisser. Together, they built a life centered around family, faith, hard work, and love.

Throughout her life, Carol held a variety of jobs and was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. She worked at Playskool, Argos Products, Falls Products, DeKalb Swine Breeders, and Wolff & Associates. She also served as a dispatcher for the Genoa Police Department.

Carol was an active and devoted member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Genoa. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life and remained a source of strength and comfort throughout the years. She was also a member of the Genoa-Kingston Fire Department Auxiliary, supporting her community and those who served it.

Above all else, Carol loved her family. Spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was one of the greatest joys of her life and always a priority. She took tremendous pride in the family she and Gene created, and nothing meant more to her than having everyone together. Her family will remember her as the steady foundation that helped keep them close and taught them the importance of showing up for one another, loving one another, and always putting family first.

Carol is survived by her four children, Valerie Lee, Noreen (Ron) Plate, Kevin Seisser, and Janet (Dave) Grimm.

She was a proud grandmother to her eleven grandchildren, Amber Smith, Justin (Kara) Lee, Scott (Mandy Thompson) Conro, Joline (Devon) Tijerina, Courtney (Victor Saldana) Seisser, Colin Seisser, Alex (Tracey) Grimm, Ashley (Joe) Schilling, Tyler Grimm, Tanner (Alyssa Eilers) Grimm, and Connor Grimm.

Her family continued to grow with her fifteen beloved great-grandchildren: Jaiden, Brexton, and Jett Lee; Landen and Brysen Smith; Noah and Teagan Oates; Joseph, Henry, Willow, and Caleb Schilling; Mason and Iva Thompson; and Jameson "Taco" and Scarlett Saldana. Carol was also joyfully awaiting the arrival of two more great-grandchildren.

Her sisters; Joyce (Bob) Koplin, Gloria (Jim) Kush, sister-in-law, Sue Woods; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Lillie Becker; her beloved husband, Eugene Seisser; her sons-in-law, Danny Lee and Mark Conro; her great-grandson, Kyler Lee and her brother-in-law, Gene Woods.

Carol leaves behind a beautiful legacy—one that cannot be measured in possessions or accomplishments, but in the generations of family she loved so completely. Her faith, strength, love, and devotion to family will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2026, and again from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 33930 N. State Road, Genoa.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Derek Paetow officiating.

Burial will follow at Genoa Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Trinity Lutheran Church Preschool in Carol's memory.

Carol will be deeply missed, but the love she gave so freely, the faith she lived so strongly, and the family she held so close will remain her lasting legacy.
