Buddy Rex Fisher, 78, of Kirkland died peacefully on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family and his dog Brandy.
He was born February 27, 1943 in Bettendorf, IA to George F. and Lillian B. (Leech) Fisher.   Buddy was a graduate of the Sycamore High School, Class of 1961.  He married Patricia Wolven on June 24, 1967.
Buddy was employed by Marland Oil Company and Stan Olsen.  He started working at Greenlee Tool as a machinist in 1979 and retired in 2008.
Bud was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, loved to watch "wrastlin" and Nascar races, repairing and collecting antique clocks and spending time with his family.
Survived by his loving wife, of 53 years, Patricia, sister Mary Sanders, three children Duane (Christina), Dan (Amanda), Tammy (Ryan) Ross, 12 grandchildren, Terron (Matt), Nick, Michael, Dylan (Elyse), Ryan, Adam, Presley, Alexis, Danny, Cooper, Brett and Braeden, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews and their families.

His visitation will be on Friday, May 28th from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory in Sycamore, IL.
A graveside service and burial will be on Saturday, May 29th at 12:30 PM at the Kingston Cemetery, Kingston, IL. with Rev. Jackie Wills officiating.
