Bobby L. McElroy, 69, of Sycamore Illinois passed away Monday, September 9th, 2024.

Bob was born November 22nd, 1954 in Cambridge, Ohio.  Son of the late James L McElroy and Mary Joanne( Lighty) McElroy . Bob was a graduate of Meadowbrook High School (1973) and then worked for Power Packaging in Manteno, Illinois from which he retired.

Bob love to fish, cookouts and didn't mind drinking some beer.. He was also a big fan of football.

In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his wife Tracy (Sims) McElroy, his son Shawn McElroy and a nephew Clint Cornet.

Bob is survived by his sister Connie McElroy and brother James (Laverne) McElroy, niece Jamie (Justin) Moore (Byesville Ohio), nephew Brian (Angela) McElroy (Cambridge Ohio), many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
