Betty Morgan 95, (formerly from Chicago), Beloved Aunt of Trisha (Steve) Myers and the late Jerry Sullivan, passed away peacefully Tuesday April 7, 2020 at her home in Sycamore IL.
Born and raised in Terre Haute IN., she moved to Chicago in 1942.
She worked at Sears Roebuck at Homan & Arthington as a control buyer and remained there for 43 years until she retired.
Betty loved bowling and in her younger years she belonged to several leagues.
She was a devoted Chicago sports fan. But she especially loved the Cubs and Bulls. She loved the theater and held season tickets for nearly 50 years. She was a voracious reader all her life and also loved to do any and all kinds of puzzles. The harder to do the better. She thoroughly enjoyed a challenge and had a wonderful knack for solving problems.
Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dollie Morgan, and her siblings, Joseph, Clifford, Vernon, Ernest and Mary Jane.
She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews; great, great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews, along with cousins and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Rest In Peace Aunt Betty. You will remain in our hearts forever and we will miss you.
