Audrey I. Freise, of Genoa died Sunday, January 23, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 12, 1936 in Norwalk, IA to William and Irene (Meyer) Seddon. She married Herman Freise on May 18, 1957 and they were married for 52 years before his death in 2010.
She is survived by her children, Sue (Tim) Loy, Jeff Freise and Judi Beach; her grandchildren, Jessica Loy, Erin (Marc) Trznadel, Jacob (Kristin) Loy, Lori (Alexis) Freise, Kip (Shannon) Beach, Calvin Beach and Will (Jessica) Beach; great-grandchildren, Suzy Trznadel, Nolan and Ethan Loy, Reef Torres Freise, Hadley, Carson and Weston Beach; her brothers, Robert, Roger (Reneta), Thomas Seddon and her sister, DonnaJo (Craig) Floetl and many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to the Home Instead staff and Kindred Hospice for their care and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held in May.
Memorials can be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Genoa or the Rockford Rescue Mission in care of the Slater-Butala Funeral Home, 132 W. Main St., Genoa, IL. 60135.
