Anthony Lee Jensen, 57, of Sycamore died peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2020 at his home after a 12 year long, difficult battle with multiple medical issues.
Tony was born on March 13, 1962 in Aurora IL. to Thomas and Roberta (Hall) Jensen. He grew up In West Chicago IL. with his brothers Mike, Dolph and Dana(Laurie) Jensen, James and Byron Rex Evrard and sisters, Eula Jensen, Sharon Illingworth and Sheila (Paul) Broughton.
He work as a Union laborer for Local 109 (Dekalb) and Local 32 (Rockford) until he took disability / retirement in 2008.
He married Lisa Bangs in July of 1993.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa, his son William Thomas Jensen, daughters, Megan Nicole Jensen, Kathryn Tichawa, Emily (Bryan) Yoakam. Grandsons, Brice and Braydon Jensen, Noah and Sam Tichawa, Benjamin Yoakam and granddaughter Sophia Tichawa. And many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Thomas, siblings, Mike and Eula Jensen and his sons, Anthony Thomas & Adam Lee Jensen.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting help for his family to recover expenses from this loss. Cards may be sent to the family in care of the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL. 60178.

Tony requested to be cremated; a private burial and commemoration celebrating his life is planned.
