Annette Edna Wilson, 91, of Kingston, IL. died peacefully on September 14, 2026 at her home.

She was born on March 9, 1935 in Chicago, IL. to William Leese, Jr. and Anna Marie (Howe) Leese. She was married to William P. Wilson.

Annette brought the gift of music into her life and the students that she taught as a music instructor. She inspired the love of music through teaching the organ and piano. She also applied her energy into marketing at Safety-Kleen in Elgin, IL. , combining her dynamic spirit and the ability to connect with various people.

At home, Annette was happiest surrounded by her loving pets- she was an avid collector of anything with a German Shepard on it. She was an skilled crafter and scrapbooker. She made beautiful handmade greeting cards and put her heart into creating timeless keepsakes, that her family will treasure for a lifetime.

She will be dearly missed by her family and leaves behind her 2 daughters, Debra Wilson (Jerry Fetting) and Jannette Yates-Holtzman (Kristy); 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter on the way and her beloved pets, Dallas and Randall.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna Leese; her husband, William; and one son, Bradley Wilson.

Her memorial visitation will be on Saturday, September 26th from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL. There will be a service beginning at 2:00 PM.
