Anna-Lee Bruer, 94, of DeKalb, IL passed away on August 21, 2025.

She was born on March 29, 1931 in Rockford, IL to Jordan and Ruth (Shonle) Cavan.  She married Donald Bruer in 1950.

Lee graduated from West Senior High School, Rockford, IL and from Bradley University, Peoria, IL.

She was a co-owner of Kopy Kat Printing Center in DeKalb in the 1970's and then became a secretary at a brokerage firm.  Later, she became the secretary in a real estate office until her retirement in 1993.

Lee is survived by her children, Donna, Kraig (Lisa) Bruer and her grandchildren, Katie, John-David, Parker, Rheo, Keegan and Shea.

She was preceded in death by her parents, baby Paul and son David.
