It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Anissa Michele Bumgarner, she was surrounded by family and love until the very end. A force of nature, she brought an unmatched vibrancy to every room she entered. It's not the length of life, but the depth of love she showered on those closest to her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as Dolly Doo, Sister, and our ray of sunshine!

Anissa was born on February 5, 1973, to Michael Lee Bumgarner and Dawn Denise (DeCathelineau) Highstreet. Her strong will and determined spirit propelled her through life, not just for herself, but for the family she adored. She was known by her siblings as the heartbeat of the family, sharing camping and fishing trips, taking them to their first concerts, and paving the way to adulthood for them. She had a passion for art, creativity, music and reptiles!

She dedicated her life to her family, specifically in the most recent years, to her mother Dawn and her fiancé Adolphuse Slaughter. She was her entire families biggest cheerleader and their fiercest protector, providing a foundation of unconditional love and relentless support.

Anissa is proceeded in death by her father Michael Bumgarner and brother Michael Shane Hoskinson. Anissa is survived by her grandmother Peggy Boehm, Mother Dawn Highstreet, Stepfather Robert Highstreet, her fiance Adolphuse Slaughter, her siblings Aaron Hoskinson (Nichole), Amber Kelm (David), and loving nieces and nephew: Brooke, Isabel, Ethan, Courtney, Ruby, Natalie and Evelyn.

A private celebration of life will be held for her immediate family.
