Angelita Moreno, 80, of Sycamore, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, October 19, 2025.

Angelita was a devoted mother and grandmother whose kindness and strength touched everyone who knew her. She was a loving widow, and her family was the center of her world. She is survived by her daughter, Michele Moreno and three granddaughters, Alize' Smith, JaKiya Thompson and Jaliah Thompson. Her siblings, Roberto (Pino) Banda, Josephine Solis, Juanita Estrada and Eva Thompson and many beloved nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her warmth, laughter and love.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Thomas Moreno and Son Frank Banda.

Her family and friends will remember her with deep affection and gratitude for the love and generosity she shared throughout her life.

A celebration of Angelita's life will be held at a later date.
