Anastasia (Tessie) Reapsong, 93, of Genoa died Saturday, November 6, 2021 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL.
She was born on August 28, 1928 in Hopewell, VA. to Michael and Mary (Contos) Pavlou. She was married to James C. Reapsong.
Anastasia was a member of the Crosswind Community Church in Genoa. She was loved and will be dearly missed by her devoted family. Her warm smile will be remembered by her many friends.
Survivors include her two sons, Mike (Melanie) Peters and Ed (Kathy) Peters; her grandchildren, Brian (Mary), Jason (Tammy), Christopher (Bonnie), Christina, Curtis, Jennifer (John) and Brian (Ashley); and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2015; two sisters, Catherine and Georgia and four brothers, Jimmy, Emile, Louie and Nick.
The family would like to thank Dr. DiSanti and the hospital staff at the St. Anthony Medical Center for their kindness and compassionate care they gave to Anastasia and her family.
Her visitation will be on Saturday, November 13th from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at the Crosswind Community Church, 13100 Cherry Road, Genoa, IL.
A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 AM at the Church with Rev. James Freund and Rev. Gary Roca officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at the Church. A private burial will be at the Genoa Cemetery.
