Alice A. Paulson's Obituary

Alice. A. (Wolf) Paulson, 91, died peacefully at Oak Crest Retirement Center in DeKalb, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Edward J. Paulson, her parents Hugo and Freda Wolf of Genoa, and her sister Louise Muhl.
Alice is survived by her 3 children: Barbara L. Paulson, Dr. David L. Paulson and Philip J. (Lisa M.) Paulson, 2 grandsons: Jim and Tom Paulson, and 2 great-grandchildren: Eleanor and Hugh Paulson. She is also survived by her two sisters: Donna Miller and Lynda Stroud, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Side-by-side with her late husband Edward, they had the courage and vision to start a business. They founded Genoa Offset, Inc. in 1957. The corporation was later renamed Genoa Business Forms, Inc. and moved to Sycamore in 1984. The corporation remains in business today.
Alice was the inaugural recipient of the Sycamore Athena Award in 1994.
A private memorial gathering will take place.
